"“DANS LA NUIT” is a collection of photos I took from 2012 to 2014. Shot between France and Canada, it’s the result of multiple encounters, a huge consumption of painkillers AND an important reflection on youth and freedom. Bring to light this violence I felt inside me while searching it in others.. Trying to turn my actions as a photographer into a guerilla for freedom sake. I have this idea that youth is free, because it’s idealistic and wild. That’s why I called my series “DANS LA NUIT”, it’s like a metaphore for the unknown, the idea of transgression."
